The Throw Co entity is an extension of who I am (Tyler Nickel) and I hold both my name and the Throw Co company to the highest standard. As the owner, I am committed to helping young men achieve their goals at the quarterback position by providing the highest level of quarterback specific training and development for all ages and talent levels. It is my duty to be part of something bigger than myself and build lasting relationships with not only my quarterbacks but their family as well.
I believe that coaching is not made for everybody. However, I know that this is my calling. I want to be an integral piece and a valuable resource in an athletes development as not only a football coach, but a life coach and mentor as well. Whether it is in-between the lines or in the real world, I work diligently to plant seeds of encouragement, positivity and most importantly belief into all of my quarterbacks. If I can just get a player to believe that they can achieve anything that they set their mind to then I have done my job. My sole focus is not building football players, it’s building strong young men who will have a lasting impact within their programs, schools, communities and beyond.
I am not in this for the money, credit or self-promotion. I simply demand more out of a player than he can demand out of himself so he can reach the pinnacles of life and sport that he never thought were possible.
